Premium housebuilder to start work on first east coast site

HOUSEBUILDER Ambassador Living has confirmed work will start this month on its Forthview development in the royal burgh of South Queensferry, near Edinburgh.

The new community is the first development for the firm on Scotland’s east coast. It will comprise 92 homes including a mix of three, four and five-bedroom houses and one and two-bedroom apartments. Forthview boasts views over the three Forth bridges.

Ambassador Living will also deliver 32 affordable homes as part of its planning commitments agreed with City of Edinburgh Council.

Gordon Coster, MD of Ambassador Living, said, “It is a real landmark to commence works on our first development in the east. With more developments coming through on this side of the country, we are looking forward to introducing our premium offer and personal home-buying journey to new customers. South Queensferry, as a location, has it all; a great local community with an abundance of amenities, well-reputed schools and great commuter links. In addition, the views over the three bridges are truly breath taking – making Forthview a unique opportunity.

“We have a varied mix of homes so regardless of where you are on your housing journey, there is something for everyone. There has been a fantastic response to our first release, with only a small number of homes remaining. We would urge anyone interested to register their interest now to avoid disappointment.”
