A big-hearted team from Paisley-based compliance, maintenance and fit out specialist Valley Electrical Services got on their bikes recently to raise £3,760 for Marie Curie.
The participants braved the rain to cycle 25 miles from Glasgow to Balloch after being inspired to raise money for the charity after carrying out work at a Marie Curie hospice, including electrical repairs and lighting upgrades.
Sean Harkin, Valley MD said, “We’re incredibly proud of our efforts but mostly about the money raised for the hospice. We were all pretty far out of our comfort zone but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We’d like to thank all of our customers and suppliers for their support and kind donations, which are still coming in.”
