AKP Scotland has announced it is including a dedicated insurance reinstatement and small works offering across commercial and domestic markets.

Chartered surveyor Stephen Braid will head up the new offering, drawing on his three decades of experience representing loss adjusters and contractors.

akp MD Martin McColl said, “The business’s growth plans are not focused on simply doing more of the same but on breaking into new markets and geographies too. Insurance reinstatement projects and additionally small works circa £20k – £200k, for example, are something we have seen more of recently. This offering, added to akp’s current project work of contracts ranging from £200k – £10m+, now enables the company to provide its clients with solutions to their property needs no matter the scale.”

Stephen Braid added, “Listening to and understanding the client’s brief together with good communication are key to the successful, safe delivery of top-quality insurance reinstatement and small works projects. Our aim is to deliver on every job we are involved in. akp are clearly a strong brand throughout the Scottish medium sized construction, refurbishment and fit out markets, recognised for carrying accreditations such as Altius, Constructionline Gold, CHAS and Safe Contractor and this coupled with their approachable, trustworthy and transparent attitude will make for a great fit in the insurance reinstatement and small works market.”
