Green light for second phase of Carrbridge development

TULLOCH Homes have been granted planning consent for a second phase of 48 homes at the Woodlands development in Carrbridge in the Scottish Highlands.

A Section 75 agreement has also been concluded with Highland Council after the housebuilder reported a ‘surge’ of interest in homes with a rural setting.

Lynne Boyd, sales director of Tulloch Homes, said, “The pandemic and lockdown has clearly influenced more homebuyers to seek a rural environment and more space. This includes space to work from home as well as easy access to the countryside, which is a feature of our various locations. Only one home remains to be sold from the first phase of 24 at Carrbridge and the planning approval enables us to go forward with the larger phase.”

Boyd added that the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in homebuyers looking for extra internal space in which to work, and space outside for family leisure time.
