Edinburgh Rugby’s new stadium begins to take shape

EDINBURGH Rugby has said the build of its new stadium has taken ‘significant’ steps to nearing completion.

Recent progress on the project includes the installation of a synthetic carpet with a shock-pad under layer due to be installed before the arrival of the final playing surface; the erection of floodlights; and installation of toilet blocks.

The club said that main contractor, Malcolm Group, will continue the construction of the four stands through the winter period.
