STEWART Mine Homes has bolstered its sales team in central Scotland with the promotion of Tony Williamson to the role of sales and marketing director, and the appointment of Caroline Yan Hip as senior sales manager.

Having originally joined the business as a sales consultant in 2011, Tony Williamson progressed to part-exchange manager the following year before becoming senior sales manager in 2017. He replaces Marlyn Boal, who will be retiring after 25 years with the company.

Mr Williamson said, “Having worked alongside Marlyn and other senior members of the team for a number of years, I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from some of the most experienced professionals in our industry. I’m now looking forward to bringing my own passion and ideas to the role. My task is made considerably easier by the fact that our homes are renowned for quality and craftsmanship. The group’s approach to setting these within highly distinctive and attractive communities, means there is strong interest in every site we bring forward.”

Mrs Yan Hip joined the business in 2011 and held the role of sales consultant before becoming a part-exchange manager. She will now be responsible for the management of Stewart Milne Homes’ sites in Edinburgh and east-central belt.

Jonathan Fair, MD of Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland, said, “It’s particularly rewarding to be able to promote from within and these, well-deserved promotions underline Stewart Milne Homes’ commitment to developing our people and nurturing them on a clear career pathway. Despite losing someone with Marlyn’s extensive experience, we have a robust, energetic and enthusiastic team who will bring fresh ideas that enable us to anticipate and respond to market demands.”
