New fitness studio to open at Eurocentral

A new fitness and nutrition studio is set to open at Maxim Park, Eurocentral, led by entrepreneur and ex-military man Jamie Read.

Enduro Fit Studio will begin operating at the end of October, occupying around 9,000 sq. ft. spread over two floors at Maxim 3, which features bay windows facing onto the business park’s plaza.

The studio will offer a range of services and will be open 24/7 to accommodate people at all times, whatever their schedule.

Jamie Read is a qualified nutritionist, British Army veteran, and former military writer. After leaving the army, he has spent recent years working as a protection professional for wealthy families and provided private security services in the likes of Syria, Somalia, and Iraq.

A semi-professional mountain biker, Jamie plans to bring his love of endurance sports to Maxim. He said, “Creating the studio is a really exciting development – it allows me to combine my passions for sports, fitness, and nutrition in one place and share that with people who want to be the healthiest versions of themselves they can. I started out doing nutrition courses online to help people with their diets. However, as I went down that route I thought it would be good to have a physical space that could combine different aspects of health and be available to people with different schedules and priorities.

“Enduro Fit Studio will be a functional training facility for people with a variety of different needs, not just a gym where people go to lift weights. We want to empower every person to live a strong and healthy life – our role is to support you in pursuing your ambitions, goals, and desires through the power of nutrition and fitness. It is much more than a gym and a training facility, it’s a community and we will always be on hand to assist and help in any way we can.”

The Enduro Fitness Studio is the latest in a series of new tenants and amenities at Maxim Park. It was announced earlier this year that US healthcare technology company LumiraDx would take a substantial amount of space at the park, while Sure Thing Insurance added to its existing operation.

Last year, Glasgow-based sandwich shop chain Piece arrived at Maxim Park, while a new restaurant called Regis was introduced to expand the food and drink selection.

Mark Rabinowitz, director at Maxim Park owner Shelborn Asset Management, said, “Enduro Fit Studio is a great addition to Maxim Park. We have been in discussions with a number of gym operators in the past, but Jamie has the ambition and vision to create something special for our occupiers, their staff, and people in the wider Eurocentral area.

“Despite the impact of Covid-19, we have had a number of positive developments at Maxim over the past year or so, with a variety of new tenants, amenities, and initiatives underway. There has been a great deal of interest in the park since we took ownership nearly two years ago and that has only solidified what we believe: it’s a strong offering in a great location.”
