TAYLOR Wimpey East Scotland has revealed pre-construction work is underway for a development of 69 new homes at its Ravensheugh development on land at St Clements Wells in Wallyford.
The project will deliver a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes and forms part of the wider St Clements Wells masterplan that will deliver a new primary school, proposed new secondary school, local centre and community woodland along with new foot and cycle connections to Wallyford and the local train station.
Taylor Wimpey said the scheme will complement the housebuilder’s nearby Letham Mains development in Haddington, the final stages of its Almond Park development in Musselburgh, its latest development of 102 new homes coming soon at Weldon Grange in Macmerry, as well as current and future land interests in Dunbar.
Pauline Mills, land and planning director at Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said, “We are so pleased to be starting the construction of our first development in Wallyford, which cements our commitment to the wider East Lothian area. Ravensheugh will not only provide residents from around the local area with a wide selection of homes, it offers great commutable routes to Edinburgh and the wider area.
“As one of the largest housebuilders in the UK, we are committed to building more than homes and making sure that we add social, economic and environmental value to the wider communities that we operate in.”
