Bellway site manager earns award recognition

David Banks

BELLWAY Homes (Scotland East) senior site manager David Banks has been recognised for his work at the Charlotte Gate development in Perth.

He is one of 450 site managers out of more than 11,000 to have won a Quality Award in the first round of the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards 2020. The competition is dedicated to honouring site managers who achieve the highest standards in housebuilding.

The award is the first of its kind to be won by Bellway’s Scotland East division since it was launched in August 2018.

David, who lives in Tullibody in Clackmannanshire, said, “It was a lovely surprise and I am absolutely thrilled and delighted to be recognised by the NHBC for my work and being selected for such a prestigious award. I am especially pleased and proud of the wider Bellway East Scotland team and supply chain who have supported me in achieving this fantastic and without whom this would not be possible.”

Iain Allison, regional director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland East) added, “In these extremely challenging times it’s wonderful to get such good news and we are so proud of David who is a very talented and hard working site manager. He sets a great example to all those who work with him and works tirelessly to delight our customers with the high quality of homes his team build. We are a relatively new division so for David to win this honour and on the 40thAnniversary of the Awards is fantastic. I am confident that it will be the first of many as we have assembled such a strong team here.”
