KIER has been appointed by the University of Edinburgh to deliver the new school of engineering building at their King’s Building Campus in the Scottish capital.
The total value of the project has been estimated at £21,700,000, with the five-storey new school of engineering building coming as part of a collection of four other buildings which will look to transform the campus – with existing learning space accommodation to be demolished prior to the contract commencing.
The school of engineering will feature a cafe, showcase lab and support accommodation, as well as computer labs, teaching spaces, administration and research labs and offices.
The university has set a target occupation date of June 2022.
