Morrison Construction scoop two accolades at education awards night

MORRISON Construction celebrated a double success at the Education Buildings Scotland awards, after winning the contractor and project of the year categories.

The £32 million West Calder High School development bagged the firm the project of the year award, while the contractor of the year award saw the firm see off tough competition from other reputable construction companies.

Ian Jubb, managing director for building at Morrison Construction, commented, “Education has been a very successful sector for our business in recent years and Morrison Construction has been a major part of that. Throughout Scotland we have an excellent track record of working with the Hub procurement vehicles and local authorities to deliver high quality facilities from small local primaries to large community education hubs that make a real difference to students and teachers.”
