MUIR Homes is sponsoring a Primary 5 children’s football team with a donation of £500 as part of the housebuilder’s commitment to investing in the local community.
Muir Homes – whose Riverside of Blairs development is being built on the banks of the River Dee, a few minutes from Milltimber Primary – acted following a request from a parent at the school.
Dougie Simpson, who coaches one of the school football teams said, “We’re in the middle of getting new football kits for all the children’s teams which is a big cost. We’re really grateful that Muir Homes has made this generous donation which helps make sure we can have a good standard of kit for the Primary 5 team.”
Ash Sheik, sales and marketing director at Muir Homes commented, “When we heard about the sponsorship opportunity we were delighted to be able to help. We believe it’s really important to give something back to the communities in which we build new homes. We wish the Primary 5 team good luck and hope their new football kit will help them win lots of matches!”
