Top ten: Taylor Wimpey site managers achieve award recognition

TEN Taylor Wimpey site managers in Scotland have been recognised with national housebuilding awards.

The firm’s NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award winners are: Iain Alexander (Benthall Farm, East Kilbride), Dougie Kirkland (Newton Farm, Cambuslang); David McClure (Westfield Gardens, Maidenhill); Angus Cameron (Tannochside Gardens, Uddingston); Colin Hurren (Walkers Gate, Kilmarnock); Scott McNulty (Princess Gate, Troon); Steven Sandilands (Taylor Wimpey at Broomhouse); Eddie McCann (Calderwood, East Calder); Graham Spence (Victoria Grange, Monifieth) and Barry Watson (Wallace Grange, Dunfermline).

All ten will now go forward to the Scottish regional awards final to be held in Glasgow in October.

Brian Henderson, production director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland said, “Across our two Scottish business units, we’re really proud to acknowledge that we have some of the best site managers in Scotland. We are delighted that seven site managers in the west of Scotland, and three site managers in east of Scotland have received Quality Awards in NHBC’s Pride in the Job campaign.”

Martyn Campbell, production director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland added, “We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service, and this recognition has ensured that we continue to be an NHBC award-winning housebuilder year after year. While many of our site managers have won previous Pride in the Job Awards, competition for an NHBC Quality Award continues to be tough, and this year’s awards are thoroughly deserved in recognition of an impressive team effort at our developments across Scotland.”
