MILLER Homes has launched what it believes to be a ‘first of its kind’ app from a national housebuilder.
The My Miller Home initiative allows customers who have reserved a plot to access information about their homebuying journey from their smartphone or tablet. This includes updates on the build progress, copies of customer signed documentation, purchased options, demonstration videos, and floorplans.
The move follows on from Miller Homes’ online reservation system. In September 2017, the company became the first homebuilder to enable customers to reserve and pay a deposit on their home via its website.
Anne Marie Britton, group sales & marketing director at Miller Homes said, “We are committed to putting our customers at the heart of everything we do and we recognise the value technology can bring to that. Buying a home is a significant lifetime purchase and we are delighted to launch an app that helps our customers feel even more involved in this exciting milestone in their lives. With a host of features, the app brings together all the information they need in one convenient place, helping them stay close to the creation of their home as it progresses.”
Graeme Stirling, group IT director added, “We are extremely proud of the innovations we have rolled out in the last few years, all of which have been developed around the needs of today’s buyers and designed to complement each other to enhance the overall experience of buying a brand new Miller home.”
