Allied Surveyors Scotland appoints new senior commercial valuer

David Harvey

DAVID Harvey has been appointed a senior commercial valuer in Allied Surveyors Scotland’s Edinburgh office.

He joins the business from the Lothian Valuation Joint Board, where he was a senior valuer for 15 years, latterly holding the position of divisional valuer.

David said, “This is an exciting move to one of Scotland’s largest firms of chartered surveyors and I look forward to providing a dedicated commercial valuation service for our wide range of clients.”

The appointment follows the announcement in June that ex-Scotland rugby ace Gavin Kerr had been recruited by Allied as a senior building surveyor.

Chris Highton, director and vice-chairman of Allied Surveyors Scotland commented, “We are continuing to invest in our business and David represents a vital addition in our efforts to service our commercial property clients.”

David will be working closely with the firm’s east coast commercial agency department which was launched in April last year by Iain Mercer.
