SPRINGFIELD Properties has revealed it has received almost 300 new enquiries at the new Dykes of Gray village in Dundee, after the city was recently named the best place to live in Scotland.
The village, which is located to the west of the city centre, boasts a mix of homes, space for children to play, shops and a variety of business opportunities.
More than 160 families, couples and young professionals already live at Dykes of Gray, with Dundee having been boosted by the opening of the new V&A Museum and waterfront regeneration. A Sunday Times poll placed the city ahead of Stockbridge, in Edinburgh, and Finnieston in Glasgow, as the best place to live north of the border.
Tricia Malek, central sales director at Springfield Properties said, “It has been obvious to us for some time that Dundee is one of the best places in the UK to live. Dykes of Gray is perfectly located for enjoying everything Dundee has to offer and for ease of travel to the rest of the central belt and the north of Scotland.
“We are building a mix of high-quality homes and shops and creating business opportunities at Dykes of Gray – everything the community needs, right on its doorstep. Dykes of Gray is a new place that people are already proud to call home. Children will grow up here, buy their first home here and have a family of their own here, surrounded by friends and family.”
