A provider of traffic management solutions is said to be improving fleet safety and efficiency, thanks to a new mobile application with integrated telematics.
Class One Traffic Management Solutions required mobile apps as a paperless solution to help its workforce carry out daily equipment and vehicle checks. The Algorithm People has now created a suite of mobile apps tailored to the firm’s specific needs.
Debbie Watt of Class One said, “We pride ourselves on providing safe and effective traffic management services to all of our customers. Ensuring our own vehicles and equipment are monitored efficiently is therefore of paramount importance. The apps make the daily checks easy for our employees to use, reduce paperwork and provide a digital record.”
The Stirlingshire-based company also required vehicle tracking with driver behaviour analytics. The Algorithm People provided an integrated telematics and camera solution, said to reduce accident rates by up to 39%, improve fuel economy by up to 10% and reduce instances of speeding by up to 35%.
“The Algorithm People listened to our needs and provided bespoke mobile apps specifically designed to our requirements,” Debbie added. “We are also benefiting from a comprehensive telematics package, which will help us to cut fleet fuel consumption and reduce road risk.”
Colin Ferguson, CEO at The Algorithm People commented, “Class One had a very clear vision of how it wanted to further improve safety and efficiency. Our development capability and extensive experience in mobile apps and telematics enabled us to be really responsive to their needs.”
