THE port of Leith is set to see the launch of a new residential community comprising apartments, colonies and townhouses.
CALA Homes’ (East) Waterfront Plaza will launch its first phase on July 13, with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and colony apartments and duplexes available for sale.
The housebuilder said the properties will offer the ‘ultimate urban lifestyle’, with many of the properties boasting terraces or balconies.
Philip Hogg, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (East) said, “Leith’s waterfront is truly famous – what a thrill and responsibility to be delivering new homes here. There has been a real demand for a range of quality homes in and around Leith, thanks to its great connections into the city centre and the abundance of local amenities – from high-end restaurants to family-friendly attractions.”
CALA recently revealed it has given a ‘contemporary twist’ to Edinburgh’s famous colony homes.
Philip Hogg added, “Waterfront Plaza has such a variety of property types on offer which tap into Leith’s proud sense of community, while enhancing it with cleverly designed green spaces and an eclectic mix of retail units. It is a real milestone for us to finally bring Waterfront Plaza to the market. The site had lain derelict for decades prior to our team starting work. We’re hoping that the transformation will breathe new life into the area and continue to establish Leith as one of the city’s most vibrant hotspots.”
