ENERGY Assets Utilities (EAU) is investing heavily in a new fleet of low-emission vehicles to support utility network construction at residential and commercial developments across the country.
The first 33 new vans in the company’s commercial fleet of over 200 vehicles will be based at EAU’s Alva base in Scotland. This will be followed by a further 40 vehicles destined for operations in England and Wales.
The new MAN 3.5 tonne TGE diesel vehicles meet Euro6 emissions standards, and include SATNAV and tracking systems, along with reversing cameras/sensors and speed limiters.

These new vehicles are more energy efficient and include onboard systems that will improve both operational effectiveness and the safety of our people, which in turn will support our reliability and quality commitments to our growing customer base.”
