THE SELECT Toolbox Talks Tour 2019 will visit twelve Scottish venues ranging from the Islands to the Borders.
Aimed at electrical professionals, the tour will address a range of issues including fire detection and alarm systems in dwellings; and an update on building standards in Scotland.
SELECT said the free-to-attend events are expected to attract large audiences of directors and managers, company owners, qualified electricians and apprentices.
Alan Wilson, SELECT’s acting MD said, “The steadily growing numbers attending our Toolbox Talks is highly encouraging and given this year’s important topics we expect to attract record numbers of professionals. One issue in particular which we expect will be well-attended, and is already creating a buzz throughout our industry, is the impact of the 18th edition of the Wiring Regulations which come into force next year.”
