Arc-Tech delivers on Edinburgh gym project

M&E specialist Arc-Tech (Scotland) has delivered a second contract for GHI Contracts on behalf of Vita Student in Edinburgh.

Following on from the successful delivery of Kintore House in 2018, where Arc-Tech assisted GHI with a major hotel conversion, the two companies have partnered again with the delivery of a new gym that forms part of a student accommodation complex in the city centre.

The contract was delivered within an 8-week programme and involved the installation of M&E services including ventilation, AC-comfort cooling, water and drainage, lighting and control, fire and security systems, access control, music systems as well as IT and communications.

John Gallacher, Arc-Tech managing director commented, “It was a pleasure to have worked with GHI Contracts once again at Vita Student Gym. Our contracts team worked very well on what was a very challenging, fast-tracked project providing an excellent standard of workmanship and an on-time ‘snag-free’ delivery.

“I would also like to take the time to highlight that we managed to finalise the design, procured, installed and commissioned all of the M&E services in a time period of just eight weeks which is an outstanding achievement.

“We look forward to continuing our relationship with GHI and hope to work with them again soon.”
