Steel structure milestone for new Royal Highland Centre building

ROBERTSON has announced that ‘significant’ progress has been made in the construction of a new mixed-use building at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston.

The contractor is currently building the new event space for the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS), the organisers of the Royal Highland Show. Construction started in February, with the steel structure now in place.

The build programme is scheduled to complete at the beginning of 2020. The facility will contain around 18,800 sq. ft. of flexible event space, allowing it to accommodate conferences and meetings throughout the year. It also features a raised viewing gallery.
