LINEAR Design & Construct (LDC) has been appointed to deliver the refurbishment of several South Ayrshire Council offices across locations in Ayr and Troon.

The design and build project is said to include ‘extensive works’ within the council headquarters at County Buildings in Ayr and Troon Municipal Buildings.

Secured through hub South West and South Ayrshire Council, the project will involve the upgrade of a number of current building spaces to deliver high quality offices for council staff. It will also include internal upgrades to several other council properties including the Carnegie Library, River Terrace and a first and second floor fit-out of the former Clydesdale Bank building in Ayr High Street.

Ryan Broadley, managing director of Linear Design & Construct said, “We are delighted to be appointed to deliver this fantastic project for hub South West and South Ayrshire Council. We look forward to providing a high quality project and commencing a long-lasting partnership.”

Michael McBrearty, chief executive of hub South West added, “We are pleased to have been able to facilitate another important project with South Ayrshire Council and we look forward to working closely with Linear Design & Construct to bring further tangible benefits to the region.”

The refurbishment project and fit-out will be completed between April and December this year.
