STEWART Milne Group has appointed Clive Fenton and Martyn Everett as non-executive directors following the retirement of Tim Redburn and Hugh Mackay.
Clive Fenton has experience at the helm of McCarthy & Stone and spent many years as a board director of Barratt plc. Martyn Everett is an experienced finance director, who has held executive and non-executive directorships in sectors including housebuilding, engineering, retail and media. He has been the chairman of Redhall Group plc since 2014.
Chief executive Stuart MacGregor said, “These two appointments will strengthen and reinvigorate our board. We’re now three years into our ambitious five year growth plans which have seen us boldly push forward with geographical expansion to secure a more balanced portfolio of developments in regions where demand is strong. Clive and Martyn’s combined business experience and expertise in construction and housebuilding will be a welcome addition as we meet our five year targets and set fresh objectives for our next five-year plan.
“We’d like to acknowledge and thank our two retiring board members for their contribution. Hugh, in particular, has been a part of the business almost since the beginning and has played a valuable role in shaping the successful business we have today. We wish them all the best for the future.”
