CALA Homes (West) has announced construction work at its £100 million Jordanhill Park site in Glasgow has surpassed 100 working days.
More than 400 luxury homes are set to be delivered by 2023. Since work started in October, more than 180 operatives have been inducted to date, with an average of approximately 60 people working onsite every day.
CALA added that the project is on track to start the superstructure phase of the Southbrae development, while demolition and ground consolidation continues in other parts of the development.
The housebuilder has engaged several local businesses during the work including cleaning firm White Pearl Cleaning, events management company WFR and a photographer to record the changing skyline.
In the next phase, CALA will commence roadworks around the Jordanhill Drive entry and exit junction.
Project director David Sutherland said, “We’re extremely pleased with the progress we have achieved so far.“Construction progress is in line with our expectations with both demolition and ground consolidation operations on programme. We continue to work alongside both the Jordanhill community and key stakeholders adjacent to our construction boundary.”
Designed by architects 7N, Jordanhill Park will offer a range of homes from one-bedroom flats to five-bedroom detached homes.
