BAM to open the doors to high profile Scottish projects

Capital Square, Edinburgh

BAM Construction will provide members of the public with access to four Scottish construction projects as part of the UK-wide Open Doors initiative which runs from March 18-23.

The contractor will showcase Maidenhill Primary and Nursery School in Newton Mearns on Wednesday 20th; Jedburgh Intergenerational Campus on Thursday 21st and Atlantic Square, a Grade A building in Glasgow’s financial services district on Friday 22nd. Capital Square, a new office development in Edinburgh, will be open on the morning of Saturday 23rd March.

Bruce Dickson, regional director, BAM Construction said, “Open Doors is designed to challenge preconceptions about the construction industry. As well as allowing our neighbours to see what is happening behind the hoarding and get a preview of what the finished job will look like using BIM 3D technology, we showcase all of the skills of the people involved in making these projects happen, and the different career opportunities in this amazing industry.”

Spaces on the tours are limited and children must be accompanied by an adult.  Tours can be booked by visiting https://opendoors.construction/#find-a-site
