CONSTRUCTION work has started on a major new industrial speculative build development in Edinburgh.
Seven Hills Business Park in Sighthill will provide 76,000 sq ft of industrial and trade space, with completion due in autumn this year. Eleven units of varying size are being built at the site, which is already home to Napier University and Amazon.
Owned by Peveril Securities in a joint venture with Citivale, Seven Hills Business Park spans approximately 5.5 acres and is being marketed by joint letting agents, Ryden, Burns & Shaw and Montagu Evans.
Neil McAllister, partner at Ryden said, “With excellent transport connections, Seven Hills is well placed to take advantage of the severe shortage of high quality, new build industrial space throughout Scotland but particularly around Edinburgh.”
Andrew Veitch from Montagu Evans added, “Seven Hills has an enviable location on the western periphery of the Capital, linking to the A720 city bypass and its junctions with the M8 motorway and the A8 providing direct access to the M9 and the A90/M90.”
