Housebuilder hoping for green light for next phase of “landmark” site

CALA Homes (North) has submitted plans to Aberdeen City Council for the second phase of the Craibstone Estate development.

Work is already underway for the first phase of the development. The new proposal is for 80 three, four and five-bedroom homes, which the housebuilder said will enjoy “picturesque woodland views”.

The total development will see the delivery of 700 homes along with commercial space and a neighbourhood centre.

Lynn Melvin, senior land manager at CALA Homes (North) said, “The first phase of our Craibstone Estate development has been very well received and our first residents are due to move in this spring. We’re very pleased to be in a position to move onto the second phase of this landmark development, which will offer an excellent mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced properties, suited to a wide variety of homebuyers.”
