SPRINGFIELD Properties has reported a 38% rise in revenue to £75.7 million in the housebuilder’s interim financial results for the six-month period ended November 30 2018.
The Elgin-based firm also saw adjusted profit before tax increase by 97% to £6.1 million.
Completion of new homes is up 35.4% to 379, while the Gross Development Value of land bank on November 30 was £2.9 billion.

We have increased revenue from both private and affordable existing sites, and have done this at a faster rate than for the same period last year. Looking forward, we have entered the second half of the year with a strong order book of contracted revenues and a greater geographic reach across Scotland. With the sustained market drivers showing no sign of abating, Springfield is in a stronger position than ever to deliver many of the new private and affordable homes needed in Scotland.”
