OGILVIE Construction has revealed work is underway on Glasgow’s first YOTEL, which is situated opposite the city’s Central Station.
Ogilvie is transforming the Westergate building into a 256-room hotel, which will feature a rooftop bar and bowling alley. The new hotel is due to open in November this year and will be YOTEL’s second in Scotland after Edinburgh.
YOTEL Glasgow’s cabins will feature the brand’s signature adjustable SmartBed as well as its smart TVs for guests to stream their own content.
Donald MacDonald, managing director of Ogilvie Construction said, “We are delighted to be working with YOTEL to deliver their vision for a unique new hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Our team brings unrivalled specialist knowledge of the hotel and leisure sector and we look forward to successfully delivering another first class destination on the city.”
