MKM Building Supplies has opened a new branch in Elgin, creating 12 jobs in the process.
The branch will offer a “full portfolio” of products and services, including building materials, roofing, joinery and timber supplies.
The independent builders’ merchant was founded in 1995. The Elgin branch is MKM’s seventh in Scotland and will be led by branch directors Jon Sheard and Doug McNair.
Jon Sheard said, “We’re thrilled to be opening to Elgin. We’ve taken our time to put together an unbeatable team here: full of experienced, skilled local people who fully understand the needs of those they’ll be serving – whether from trades or DIY. We can only encourage visitors to give us a try for their next project.”
