STEELWORK contractor J & D Pierce is celebrating after two of the firm’s apprentices were honoured at the North Ayrshire Apprentice of the Year 2018 Awards.
Connor Bray and Billy Noble won ‘Best Apprentice’ awards in their respective disciplines of steel fabrication and construction engineering. Both are now time-served in their fields.
J & D Pierce director John Brown said, “Since the establishment of our unique Training Academy, we have seen a real increase in the quality of our project delivery. Our academy, alongside growing opportunities within our sector nationally, has attributed to the rising number of local young people eager to get into construction.”
