Morrison honoured for health and safety commitment

MORRISON Construction has announced its businesses in Inverness, Aberdeen and Glasgow have all been recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Building Highland, Building North East and Building Central were each awarded a RoSPA President’s Award for health and safety at an official awards ceremony.

A RoSPA President’s Award is presented to organisations that win 10 to 14 consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards. The Building Highland has won 14 consecutive Gold Awards, while the Building North East and Building Central businesses have won Gold Awards for the past 13 years.

John Morrison, Morrison Construction regional health and safety and sustainability manager said, “‘This is a fantastic accomplishment and I want to congratulate everyone involved. Morrison Construction’s commitment to health, safety and sustainability across our businesses has been demonstrated with our continued recognition by RoSPA. ‘Health and safety is vital in our industry and our efforts to improve our high standards will continue.’’
