SPRINGFIELD Properties is to deliver 94 new homes in Banff, Aberdeenshire.

The housebuilder confirmed Aberdeen Council has given the green light to proposals for private and affordable homes located just off Golden Knowes Road to the edge of the town.

The development includes two, three and four-bedroom homes, as well as two-bedroom cottage flats. Springfield said It has been designed to be spacious, with “ample green space” and a children’s play park.

Joyce Hadden, Springfield Properties’ north sales manager said, “Now our designs have been given the green light, we will be aiming to go on sale later this year. We’re really pleased to be able to offer our high quality and energy efficient homes to the people of Banff.

“Of the total, 27 of the homes on the site will be for general sale, meaning they will qualify for Help to Buy and be ideal for first time buyers. They’d even suit growing families wanting to move up the ladder and those looking to downsize. The remaining 67 of the homes approved for the development will be affordable and we are working with a local housing association to deliver these.”
