BRETT Martin has added 50kN 450mm lids and frames to its range of underground, rainwater and plumbing systems.
Described as “heavy duty, robust and easy-to-fit”, the lids and frames are suitable for residential applications and are compatible with Brett Martin SfA7 adoptable and non-adoptable inspection chambers.
The products are manufactured from polypropylene and are available in round and square options. They feature a webbed rib design for added strength.
Chris Dawson of Brett Martin said, “The range of lids and frames are designed to be robust and the strong lid design offers a substantial 50kN loading capability. Such is our attention to detail we even custom designed the screw fittings to have a larger thread for added strength and safety, allowing them to be locked securely in place.”
Brett Martin said that for extra safety when reduced access is required, a reducing ring clips and snaps securely into square and round frames, with screw holes for more permanent fixing.
The lightweight lids and frames are said to offer ease of installation, while the lids are easy to remove for maintenance and inspection. An anti-slip tread pattern benefits surface adhesion.
The products have been tested to EN124 A15 and conform with building regulations.
