EDINBURGH-based property investment business SRA Ventures has appointed Graham + Sibbald and Gilson Gray as retained advisors.
The firm said the partnership will enable both to provide SRA with a “fully coordinated and integrated property strategy”, including new acquisitions and management of its existing portfolio.
Chartered surveyors Graham + Sibbald’s Edinburgh and Glasgow offices will provide property advice to SRA, while Edinburgh firm Gilson Gray will supply legal advice on each deal, overseen by the firm’s head of real estate, Murray Stewart.
It’s the third successive year that Graham + Sibbald has worked with SRA on a variety of transactions, while Gilson Gray has offered advice since its inception in 2014.
SRA founder Shaf Rasul said, “We’re pleased that we have been able to formalise these partnerships with some of the leading specialists of their kind in Scotland. We are confident that through our retained advisors’ deep knowledge, strong relationships, and large footprint, combined with our own insight, robust investment vehicle, and ability to identify under-performing assets, the next chapter in SRA’s development will be a rewarding one.”
Keith Watters, partner at Graham + Sibbald added, “We are delighted with this appointment and are certain that our expertise will continue to enable SRA to not only identify new opportunities, but realise further value from its existing portfolio. We are excited to be working with such a dynamic and forward-thinking investment company.”
Murray Stewart, partner at Gilson Gray said, “We’re delighted to continue to work with SRA. Over the last four years, we have worked with Shaf and his team on various exciting projects and look forward to the year ahead. I’m positive that our vast experience within this sector will further help SRA’s growing portfolio.”
