JOHN Hill has been appointed Partner at planning and development consultant Montagu Evans.
He will be based at the firm’s Glasgow office and the move marks an expansion of the residential land team in Scotland.
Since 2001, John has been development director at Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was responsible for providing development, disposal and acquisition advice for public and private sector clients.
Montagu Evans said that throughout John’s career, he has been involved in a large number of residential, retail, commercial, mixed-use and industrial development schemes.

He has extensive knowledge of project managing teams of technical consultants on complex sites, working to mitigate development constraints, de-risk sites and secure marketable planning permissions for clients.”
This is the third Partner to join Montagu Evans’ Glasgow office this year, following senior Scottish rating specialists Ken McCormack and Steven Dalton recently joining the business.
