CRUCIBLE Alba Group has secured a £555,000 investment to build a new retail development in Gretna.
The property developer and asset management firm has revealed its plans for the site, situated on the main route between Gretna and Annan, following the funding from Royal Bank of Scotland.
Crucible Alba is offering retail space to let. The rest of the adjacent building has already been pre-let to Co-op Food on a 15-year lease.
Work on the development started earlier this year, with construction completing last month. The land had been vacant for years, having previously been owned by a car sales garage.
Brian Robinson, development director at Crucible Alba Group said, “The town of Gretna is a popular tourist destination, with a strong motorway link and an already well-established shopping village nearby. We are extremely grateful to Royal Bank of Scotland for the funding. For many years, this development lay vacant, but now offers a high-quality retail facility for the area.”
