Facilities management team honoured for Broughty Ferry work

THE Robertson Facilities Management (FM) team working at Grove Academy in Broughty Ferry has scooped the “Team of the Year” accolade at the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Scotland Awards.

Ian Gibson, managing director of Robertson FM said the award served as “recognition of the outstanding work” the firm’s teams carry out across the country.

“The team at Grove Academy embody a positive, can-do spirit, ensuring nothing is beyond their remit – their work ethic and commitment to partnership is central to the ethos of Robertson FM,” he added. “The positive feedback the FM team received from the local community, academic staff and pupils at Grove is a testament of how their passion and hard work has resulted in a service that improves the effectiveness of the school itself.”

Graham Hutton, Grove Academy headteacher added, “The Robertson FM team is superb. I’ve taught in schools in London, in Canada and other parts of Scotland, and I must say I haven’t met a facilities management team that is so helpful and looks after the school so well.”
