HARDIES Property & Construction consultants has won a £1 million Glasgow Kelvin College term commission to provide a range of services.
The move will see Hardies provide refurbishment work to roofs, pathways, ramps and drainage problems. The firm will also carry out work on listed buildings including slating, stonework, leadwork, glazing/windows and timber preservation.
Craig Gilmour, deputy managing partner at Hardies said, “We are delighted to secure this commission for a comprehensive range of projects to be delivered this financial year. We are also very happy to continue working with the College based on previous works having finished on budget and on time.
“These projects will be carried out in an extremely tight time period, though Hardies is best placed to provide these because of our multi-disciplinary approach to client service provision.”
Hardies is also investigating structural subsidence at Glasgow Kelvin College’s Easterhouse site, where it will engage with a design team to act as lead consultant, quantity surveyors, CDM-principal designers, project management and architectural services.
The various projects are scheduled for completion in early 2017.
