BRE shortlisted for Scottish business award

Global building science centre, BRE, has been shortlisted for a top Scottish business award.

BRE Innovation Park in Ravenscraig has been shortlisted in the Excellent in Innovation category of the 2017 Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards, which acknowledge the success of locally based businesses.

Dr David Kelly, BRE Group director, Innovation Park Networks, commented, “The BRE Innovation Park seeks to combine science and technology with innovation and entrepreneurship to find solutions for existing and future building issues not only in Scotland but in the UK, in Europe and around the world.

He added, “To be recognised in this way is testament to the commitment and vision of our team so we are delighted to be finalists at the Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards.”

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner to be held at Motherwell Concert Hall on Friday 3 March.
