ISG’s Scotland managing director, Andy McLinden, has been promoted to the newly created role of managing director for Scotland and Northern England.

His remit has been expanded to head up the firm’s Manchester, Liverpool and Bradford offices.

ISG’s Scottish business turns over £60 million and employs over 80 staff at its Glasgow-based HQ. ISG said that, as one of the founding team, Andy has been “instrumental” in the company’s growth trajectory north of the border.

He will now head up the enlarged Northern England and Scotland business, comprising over 270 staff.

Andy McLinden said, “This is a really exciting moment for the business as we bring together the capabilities of the Scottish and Northern construction businesses and provide a seamless service to customers across the north of the UK.

“We have an excellent pool of talented professionals in our enlarged business and there is real strength and depth in the diversity of our people and on their focus to deliver outstanding customer experiences.”
