STEPHEN Partington has been appointed a director in Turley’s Glasgow planning team.

The firm said that having previously worked for 12 years at Stewart Milne Group in the strategic land division, Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge, particularly across the residential sector.

He has led teams on “multiple” projects to complete housing schemes including a 2,000-home Community Growth Area Release at Hamilton West in South Lanarkshire.

Stephen said, “After working for many years with a major Scottish housebuilder, I am delighted to return to the world of planning consultancy, especially as a director at Turley. We have a strong presence across Scotland and I look forward to playing my part alongside the existing experienced team in expanding our service throughout Scotland. In particular I will focus on growing our involvement with the residential sector.”

Colin Smith, Turley’s Scotland office director added, “Having previously worked with Stephen, I have an understanding of his skills and attributes and am delighted that he has agreed to join Turley. His appointment will greatly enhance our position within the residential sector in Scotland.”
