Glasgow-based litigation law firm, Levy & McRae Solicitors LLP, has appointed construction law specialist, Richard Barrie, as a partner.
The firm described Richard as “one of the most respected and recognised legal experts in his field, with a reputation for taking on highly complex and often high profile cases”.
Richard’s role will involve advising clients on all matters relating to the construction industry, including contract negotiation and dispute management.
David McKie, managing partner at Levy & McRae, said, “We are delighted to welcome Richard Barrie to the firm. His first class construction law experience will be invaluable to our range of clients.”
Levy & McRae has also recently welcomed lawyers Stephen Giusti and Professor Leo Martin as consultants. Former senior-partner, Tony Caplan, has also recently re-jointed as partner after leaving in 2003.
David added, “Richard’s appointment, combined with Tony Caplan’s welcome return and the addition of vastly experienced solicitors Stephen Giusti, Leo Martin and their team further strengthens Levy & McRae and adds to our combined experience and skills to continue to deliver first rate, focused and astute advice to our valued clients.”
