McLaughlin & Harvey is the first construction company in Scotland to be awarded BRE Global BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification.

Barclay Chalmers, McLaughlin & Harvey Construction managing director, said, “We are very proud of achieving this highly respected certification, and in particular of being the first construction company in Scotland to do so.

“Being able to formally demonstrate Level 2 compliance not only allows us to expand our engagement with centrally procured government contracts but also gives new and existing clients firm assurance that our processes and procedures deliver best value to a project, including capital and operational predictability.”

Guy Hammersley, director for BIM at BRE Group, added, “Well done to McLaughlin & Harvey. The certification will enable the company to increase its competitiveness in the public and private sectors, save time and money through simplified tendering processes and share BIM’s benefits across numerous sectors.”
