THE EDI Group has moved to new “modern and dynamic” office space in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town.
The Edinburgh focused property development and investment firm has leased space within the refurbished 3 Cockburn Street.
EDI, the property development subsidiary of Edinburgh Council, invests in non-active Council land and buildings with the goal of creating “inspirational places for workers, residents and visitors”.
The company has been based in North St David Street for the last two years.
Eric Adair, operations and finance director at EDI said, “We’re delighted to be relocating to an iconic location in the heart of the capital. The space, superbly refurbished by the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, will provide us with a modern and dynamic working environment.
“t’s based in the Old Town but looks out on to the New Town and so reminds us every day of what gives Edinburgh a world status as an aspirational place to live, work and visit.”
Bruce Robertson at JLL in Edinburgh added, “3 Cockburn Street, located in the heart of Edinburgh, is an ideal location for The EDI Group to be positioned and meets their requirements for a larger, higher quality space.”
