EDINBURGH-based IME Property has announced a merger with East Lothian’s DMB Property.
The two property agencies will operate under the IME brand in a move which Iain Mercer, IME MD, says will have “wide-ranging” benefits.
“The merger with DMB Property immediately widens the IME Property portfolio across Edinburgh and the Lothians, but also highlights our intention to continually grow the business,” he said.
David Bell, DMB owner, has joined IME as a consultant following the deal.
IME said it has concluded a number of significant sales so far in 2016. “The DMB Property merger apart, we have enjoyed a strong start to 2016 in terms of both sales and lettings and we continue to witness an increase in activity as more and more people become aware of the IME brand and our philosophy,” Mr Mercer added.
