A programme to develop the next generation of oil and gas leaders in Scotland has been launched in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and Energise Associates.

The “Oil and Gas Future Industry Leader Programme” will work with a cross-industry group of individuals who are passionate about the sector.

The programme has been designed to “support lasting and sustainable change” in Scotland’s oil and gas industry and ensure relevant opportunities are available.

A three-day residential leadership retreat, supported by coaching sessions and a leadership workshop, invites delegates to tackle challenges and make a practical difference to their organisation.

Dorothy Burke, principal consultant at Energise, explained, “We are passionate about the future of oil and gas in Scotland and excited to be working with this group to develop their wider leadership vision and build a strong network with high-performing peers across operators, service companies and innovative SMEs.”

The programme is open to supervisory, managerial or senior technical individuals based in Scotland, from companies in oil and gas and support companies and organisations of all sizes. The current programme will run between June and October.
