The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) has launched its Architect in the Hoose scheme for its third year, to raise money for the Architects Benevolent Society (ABS).

The scheme will see architects offer their services in a free, one-hour consultation with members of the public, in exchange for a donation of £30 to the ABS.

RIAS patron, Carole Baxter, a presenter on Beechgrove Garden, said, “I am delighted once again to support this brilliant scheme. Anyone considering renovating; extending or even building a new house should sign up!

“Architects across Scotland are giving up their time to help homeowners whilst raising money and awareness for a very worthy charity.”

Last year’s scheme raised over £2000 for the ABS.

Registration is now open and will close in December. Members of the public can download a registration form from www.hoose.scot
