CALA Homes (West) is proceeding with plans for 101 luxury apartments in the south side of Glasgow.
A planning application has been submitted for the proposed development at Mansionhouse Road. The plans consists of three flatted blocks, ranging from four to five storeys and containing one, two and three-bed apartments and penthouses, all with internal lifts.
The submission of the planning application follows a public consultation event which gave local residents the opportunity to view CALA’s vision for the site and provide feedback.
Andy Mitchell, land director for CALA Homes (West), said, “We are delighted to be progressing with our plans for new housing on the site at Mansionhouse Road. The proposed development will be sensitively designed and in keeping with its surroundings. There is a demand for new, quality housing in the area and these apartments should help to meet this demand.
“We anticipate there will be a great deal of interest in this development.”
CALA said that if consent is granted by Glasgow City Council, work will start on the site in summer 2016, allowing the first residents to move in by spring 2017.
